TODAYSCONNECTION: Dedication ,Duty and Hope are some of the true qualities of Leadership~INspiredGuide

As a Baby  Boomer I cannot help but reflect on the Queens tremendous milestone of 60 years  on the throne. This takes enormous courage and grace.  She is a symbol of many qualities you can embrace to see you through your life and career including the ups and downs. You may not be previleged to be royalty but you are previleged to serve in your chosen career.

Today there is no longer  career  for life.  It’s a time of uncertainty and  economic challenges. Through it all learning how to cope and  thrive  just like the Queen is one of the endearing qualities that can help you grow .

What you can learn from Queen Diamond milestone could be your road map to working longer better.

Here is  an INspired Guide list on how you can maintain a long career:-)

1.STRENGTH OF CHARACTER: Lead from within. Without it you cannot sustain a long career  Stand strong in challenges even if you fall on your face. Get up and keep going.

2.SERVICE AND RESPONSIBILITY: You have chosen a career. Serve with your heart and soul even if things do not turn out the way you want. Try not to be too disappointed.  Start again. You can achieve what you want by perseverance.

3.ENDURING BRAND: Communicate to the world who you are. Make sure its clear and  know what you stand for. Do not give out mixed messages. Listen.  Live it, breathe it and strive for it.

4. CHANGE AND ADAPTATION; Nothing is permanent. Today you have a great career tomorrow you dont.  Be flexible in your career and life. Be open to  the unexpected. Dig deep and be resilient.

6.DIGNITY AND GRACE: You are who you are. There are times when things are thrown at you from all sides. Speak your truth quietly. Take it on the chin and laugh about it .What does not kill you makes you stronger. You will win and gain respect.

7. DUTY & HONOUR: Do not shy away from your talent and career.  Do it with pride.  Stand tall and play the game with guts.  Perceptions are sometimes wrong but be grateful you have  done everything with a clear conscience.  Remember  you have put your  stamp on the world. That’s what you will be remembered for.

8. BUILD ON FAILURES: This is your greatest gift of all. It is where you will excel from learning from your mistakes. Write about how you made the recovery. You will be at peace. Successes will come and it would be joyous.

9.CELEBRATE ACHIEVEMENTS: Broadcast your successes with pride among those you love. The people  you serve made you the happiest person in the world. Give back, love, live life the way you want to. In the end be thankful for all the blessings bestowed upon you.

10.HOPE AND STABILITY: The message you send out to the world should bring a sense of belonging, comfort and love. Lead without doubts. People sense insecurity and can lose confidence. Steady the ship and steer it home to glory.

These qualities I believe have kept the Queen on the throne for 60 years. I know you have someof these qualities in you . I do not profess to know her, but as an intuitive observer  her dedication and duty is to be admired. Remember the Queen is annointed to the throne.  You are appointed to your chosen career.

Have you embraced any of this list fully in your life and career?  How is it working for you? It would be great to share.

Thank you
